As the current threat of “phishing” is freely used on facebook poker players, please take in mind the following words, and for your reinssurance, you will find out more information online.
Use any search engine to look for the subject at hand. “Phishing on facebook”.
First off all, neither facebook or the game provider will contact you by email, or facebook message system to suspend your poker account (warning / ban)!
Any message or email received posing as administrators or any other type of connection to them is fake.
They will not contact anyone , and absolutely anyone under no circumstance by email or messages and ask you to verify your account on a link or to login at a website (that will only LOOK real.
Never login from links , always write the address yourself, login from the main domain)!
Any email or message received as a Warning, or Promotion of any kind should be treated as a scam attempt!
Do not click on any link in that email or message, do not take any action, except to delete it!
There is no such thing as a “double your chips” website. Also the game provider will not decide to “make it up for troubles with hundreds of millions”. These type of websites are yet again just scams.
Most important of all, read the Safety tips from the game forum as well.
